In the January issue of GSM, as Royal Mail’s Post & Go series comes to an end, former Senior Curator of Philately at The Postal Museum, Douglas N Muir RDP, gives his unique perspective on the stamps’ 15-year run, and provides a behind-the-scenes look at the work of one of the series’ most prolific artists, Robert Gillmor and Pradip Jain, RDP, FRPSL provides a study of the Boycott British Goods labels produced at the beginning of the 20th century as part of India’s passive resistance campaign for independence, and their impact on contemporary Indian postal history.
